Strawberry Margarita Parfaits Recipe


1/4 cup of fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons of orange juice
1 teaspoon of flavored gelatin
1 tablespoon of tequila
1 tablespoon of orange liqueur
2 teaspoons of grated lime zest
1 (14 oz.) Can of sweetened condensed milk
1 cup whipped cream, whipped
1 liter (4 cups) of fresh strawberries, sliced


1. Mix lime juice and orange juice in a medium saucepan. Sprinkle gelatin over it; Let it rest for 1 minute. Heat over low heat until clear and dissolved, stirring occasionally. Let cool for 5 minutes.

2. Add tequila, liqueur, lime peel and condensed milk to the gelatin mixture; mix well. Fold in whipped cream.

3. Divide a third of the strawberries into 10 ounces. Parfait glasses. Cover with half of the tequila mixture. Pour half of the remaining strawberries and the entire tequila mixture on top. Top with remaining strawberries. Cover the glasses with plastic wrap. Place in the refrigerator at least 2 hours before serving.
